Booking

Your order is reserved once you have accepted these Terms & Conditions in Bake Genie and your 40% non-refundable retainer has been received.
Need to reschedule? Please contact me at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery. I’ll do my best to accommodate a new date based on availability.

Priority Orders

Orders are accepted based on availability. Orders requested with less than 14 days’ notice may be subject to a priority fee based on the turnaround time and order details. Any applicable fee will be discussed and approved before the order is accepted.

Payments

Work begins only after payment has been successfully received. Payment screenshots or confirmation emails are not considered payment.
Please double-check payment details before sending. Payments sent to an incorrect phone number, email address, or account are the responsibility of the sender.

Final Payment

Your remaining balance is due by the date listed on your invoice. Orders will not be released until paid in full.

Changes

Beginning 14 days before your order date, all design, theme, color, and order selections are considered final. Changes after this point may not be possible and may result in additional charges if supplies have already been purchased or production has begun. 

Design

Your order will be created using the design, colors, wording, and details approved during the ordering process.
Because every item is handcrafted, slight variations in color, lettering, piping, and decoration are normal and are not considered defects.
Preview photos are not provided before pickup or delivery. Your order will be shown to you at pickup or delivery so you can confirm it has been received in good condition.

Pickup

Please arrive during your scheduled pickup window. If an order is not picked up within 24 hours and no prior arrangements have been made, it may be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.
Once your order leaves my possession, responsibility for the product transfers to you.

Delivery

Please provide accurate delivery instructions and a sturdy, level surface for cakes.
Once delivery is complete, responsibility for the order transfers to you.

Outdoor Events

Outdoor displays are at your own risk. Talk Sugar To Me is not responsible for damage caused by heat, humidity, wind, rain, insects, uneven surfaces, or other environmental conditions.

Cake Serving Sizes

The cake size and portion size selected during the ordering process will be used to determine the number of servings. Talk Sugar To Me is not responsible for cake shortages resulting from incorrect guest counts or servings larger than the selected portion size.

Allergens

Please review the ingredient and allergen information on the Talk Sugar To Me website before placing your order.
Products may contain or come into contact with milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and other allergens. Products are prepared in a home kitchen where cross-contact may occur.

Photography

I may photograph completed orders before pickup or delivery and use those photos for my website, social media, portfolio, or other promotional purposes.

Refunds

Because every order is custom made, all sales are final.
If there is a concern with your order, please contact me the same day as pickup or delivery. Refunds or replacements will only be considered if an error was made in fulfilling the agreed-upon order.

Unexpected Circumstances

If illness, severe weather, accidents, transportation issues, power outages, or other circumstances beyond my control affect your order, I will contact you as soon as possible and work with you toward the best available solution.

Acceptance

By accepting these Terms & Conditions in Bake Genie and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
